More backgrounds

I generated two new desktop backgrounds   The images are 1600×1280, which are ideal background wallpaper sizes.

They were both created with Gimps flame plug-in.

This hi-res wallpaper is based on a purple gradient background with a circular swirl over it.

This one is white and grey swirl background.  Its a low contrast version which is easy on the eyes.

Hey can I ask you a question about GIMP? When I click on the “fractal” tool it is so large when the box pops up that I can’t see the bottom to click “ok” after I have chosen my settings. There is no room to pull the box upward, as it fills the entire screen. Is there a way to resize this box?

Thank you for any help. I was admiring your background images and thought since you obviously know GIMP very well, you might can help me with this. I’ve been trying to figure out how to use the fractal tool for a long time now. 🙂

    Warm regards,

    Sharon

There doesn’t appear to be any way to make the dialog smaller. I have no idea why its so large.

You can press ‘Alt-O’ to press the Ok button or ‘Alt-C’ to cancel in the dialog though.

    Hope this helps.
