3 new gimp flame backgrounds

I got some spare time this weekend and decided to make some more hi-res background wallpapers. I use gimps flame render filter to generate the images. A good tutorial can be found here.

The first one I created was a very simple wispy orange and white fractal pattern on a black background.

The second one is actually 3 different fractal flame patterns layered over each other.

The third is 1 fractal pattern layered 3 times where each layer is scaled slightly.

More backgrounds

I generated two new desktop backgrounds The images are 1600×1280, which are ideal background wallpaper sizes.

They were both created with Gimps flame plug-in.

This hi-res wallpaper is based on a purple gradient background with a circular swirl over it.

This one is white and grey swirl background. Its a low contrast version which is easy on the eyes.

More Gimp Rendered Flame Backgrounds

Well I spent some time at the weekend making some more flame backgrounds. I use the gimp render flame plugin to make these high definition fractal desktop wallpapers.

All these are hi-res png files 1600×1280 in size.
