Lech 2010

Steve and I had a great time in Lech. The weather was really nice and sunny, good enough to snowboard in a T-shirt.

I took lots of photographs which are in the Lech 2010 gallery.

We didnt take much video, that may be a good thing as I still have hours of videos from other trips which I have not processed yet.

St Anton 2009 Photographs

Well we got back from St Anton at the weekend. It was a great week. Well it was a great week for most of us. One of our friends fractured his back. He will be ok, but he cant come to Les Arcs now.

Elgar, Sam, Will, Steve and I went for a week of snow and sun, with the odd day of white outs.

We took over 500 photos but I think I only uploaded about 460 in the end. The full gallery is here.

Burton Custom 156cm 2009 Arrived

Well my Burton Custom 156cm 2009 arrived. It looks cool.

I also bought the Burton Cartel EST bindings, in black.

I simply can’t wait to try them out. I think I should buy a lock for them though. I dont fancy having them nicked on first holiday. The cost around €800 in total, so they better last 8 years like my last Burton Custom (2000).

Avoriaz 2008 Photographs Online

Well I got the Lech photos online and now the Avoriaz 2008 holiday photographs are online.

There are lots of photographs but most of them are very good.

Myself, Mike, Steve P and Steve W all went, but Steve W broke his back at around 11am on the first day. This means there isnt alot of Steve W.

Lech am Arlberg 2008 Photographs Online

Well I finally got around to putting all the photographs from my snowboarding trip to Lech am Arlberg in January 2008.

I really did take a lot of photos this trip. I had to redesign the gallery pages to cope with the sheer number of the images. I now made the gallery page have multiple gallery pages. Each one showing 21 images (currently).

We had lots of powder the first few days then it went really sunny and nice. Here is a select few of the photos I took. The complete gallery is available here

Helmet Cam

Well I suppose I could get more than a Rubiks Cube for my birthday.

I have been looking at getting a helmet cam for when I go snowboarding in Hintertux.

The good complete systems are quite expensive, around 800 Euros for a good one, then I need a helmet too, they cost around 40 Euros.

I now wish I had bought a better camcorder when I did last year, then I could just get the helmet cam and connect it in, but my DCR-HC37 doesnt have audio or video input.

I think I’ll have to make do with my current camcorder this year, its not even 1 year old yet, at least I’ll have my Rubiks cube.
